Waterjet cutting
PWS Industrial Cutting has two water cutting machines. The largest has a cutting capacity of around 6x3 meters and has four cutting heads. The second largest has a cutting capacity of around 3x3 meters and has six cutting heads. These machines are the largest is Holland in respect of cutting range and number of cutting heads.

There are many possibilities for the machines; we can not only cut steel, RVS and aluminium, but in principle we can cut any material. We cut large flat plates but also cut pipes and other materials without problems. Also the cutting in existing products is not a problem.

Principe abrasive water cutter
We have three high pressure pumps in our procession. Every 75kw brings the water to a pressure of 3800 bar. The diamond nozzle becomes pressurised with a speed of 762 meters per second. This is approximately two and a half times the speed of sound.
After the nozzle comes the mixing space and an abrasive is added. The amount is dependant on the material being cut. The combination of water and sand form in the pipe a cutting stream touching the material with a speed of 300 meter per second.

Advantages
- nu burrs
- the speed is constant, high quality
- cool cutting, therefore also used for plastics
- there is no destruction or colouring
- there is no structure change so very suitable for cutting materials after heat treatment
- saving on material costs because of compact cutting
- complex forms are possible without destruction

Materials
- metals: steel, RVS, messing, copper, titanium, aluminium etc.
- technical materials: rubber, insulation material, foam, plexiglas, plastic materials etc.
